Heartland Payment Systems: Heartland Payment Systems (Princeton) said it is acquiring TouchNet Information Systems, an integrated commerce solutions provider to higher-education institutions. Heartland is paying $375 million for the company and, on a non-GAAP basis, expects the transaction to be slightly accretive in 2014, and to add at least $0.30 per share in 2015, the company said in a release.

In addition, Heartland expects that this transaction will add over $60 million to 2015 net revenue. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2014, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. The company said TouchNet operations will continue to be based in Lenexa, Kansas.

“We are excited to be welcoming the MediaMiser team to Innodata,” said Jack Abuhoff, Chairman and CEO of Innodata. “MediaMiser has done a great job harnessing the latest technologies to develop a sophisticated and complete solution for turning large amounts of information into actionable knowledge and has succeeded in building multiple relationships of trust with leading brands. At the end of July, Vidyo announced VidyoDesktop Virtual Edition (VE), a video conferencing desktop client designed specifically for virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environments. The product has been integrated into the Citrix virtual desktop offerings including Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp.
